I feel more patriotic when my neighbors fly the flag than when I do.

The American flag at a McDonalds blew off the flag pole and I went and picked it up. The manager came out and was just gonna ball it up but I made her hold the other end and taught her how to fold it properly.

After hurricane Ida. Running a generator to keep life moving somewhat. Neighbors pond flooded over and put a ton of fish into the ditch. An Eagle was having a field day as we watched it eat and jets passed over as we did. Pretty majestic day.

12 year old me remembers 1976 very well. The Bicentennial was everywhere that summer. Lots of good music on the radio and long summer days swimming with friends and cousins. Just a happy time and had a patriotic back drop.

Witnessing the live fire $1,000,000 Fire Power show at Fort Sill, Oklahoma at the end of my training there in the summer of 1968. This was in the midst of the Vietnam War. It envolved the firing of all types of artillery and rocket systems. In addition to the U. S. Military service men there for the show there were a large number of Congressmen in attendance. It was truly impressive and made everyone in attendance proud to be from the USA!

I'm feeling pretty damn Patriotic right now. In fact, I was out the other day and I noticed so many people wearing USA shirts and hats.. I haven't seen that in a very long time
