When NJ is brought up people automatically think of Newark or Camden. The state actually has really nice areas that are further away from NYC and Philly.

So taxes are high, cost of living is high, it’s got shitty North Atlantic winters, lots of people, extremely strong unions which make work difficult, and corrupt government, but it’s not that bad.

Meh. Hyperbole is boring.

Texas has added 54 Fortune 500 headquarters since 2016.

But yeah. Second worst place to live if you have the criteria of a dumb arse Marxist.

other then North Dakota, Iowa, and Nebraska, that list is full of liberal shithole cities so the whole list is pure BS

What is this state that doesn't have a liberal shithole city in it? Alaska?

Great for pharmaceuticals. This is a business list, not a quality of living best place to live.

Upstate NJ is actually supposed to be beautiful, the problem is when the rest of the country hears New Jersey they think of Newark or Jersey Shore.

We live in the central Jersey/Princeton area. It's nice and fairly rural. Delaware river towns on either side of the river are quaint and appealing. All in all, Jersey is actually a decent state. The Garden State moniker holds up, as produce up here is awesome. But the expense of living here and the general assholishness of the natives are problems. And with the decline of NYC, weekend excursions into Manhattan aren't the draw they were a few years ago.

That makes the lists even more ridiculous. The state taxes in Oregon are a joke.

Can't be white supremacy because I know way too many closet racists that pose as liberals in Portland.

We have had two so far this year, one just did touch 90 and the other was 92. It is 72 right now at 1:12pm on July 14th.
Yes, the population centers are super liberal but not the rural and the state is 90% rural. Out here in the sticks it's guns and ganja country baby.

1 2 and 3 are all great - 1 and 2 are fantastic - as long as it is not winter. 3 is great, but too expensive

Its no secret the progs are trying to fill Omaha/Lincoln with more lefties from the west coast to turn Nebraska purple, hence why the crime rates are up and problems mounting. Just look at the idiot that Lincoln just installed as police chief - straight out of San Francisco.

Can’t understand why a State that loved Elvis (Mississippi) so much, would be democratic. They are heavily democratic.
