So what? Both groups are heretics.

The sanctuary of Trinity Episcopal in New Orleans was still under repair from Ida this past Christmas, so Temple Sinai and it’s Jewish congregation opened its sanctuary to Trinity to hold Christmas services.

The real world is mostly filled with good people who look out for their neighbors, whatever their differences.

seems fitting, neither one is Christian so they might as well get into bed with each other

Irish Catholics are no stranger to terrorism in the name of their faith.

this is exactly what Jesus would encourage. Those against it are fake Christians.

then again being a republican is a Christian these days.

You think Jesus would want his Church to host gatherings where people sin?

I struggle with this and can see both sides of the argument. While Jesus lived and preached forgiveness and loving others despite their faults, at the same time the House of prayer being used to make prayers to anyone other than the one true God ascribed in both Testaments doesn't seem like something Jesus would be onboard with.

Gay atheists seem to have more opinions on religion than anyone.

Anyone impressed by Gervais’ pop atheism quips has spent no time with actual high level theological discourse

In the hopes of possibly getting to know the love and forgiveness that He has to offer? Maybe someone is exposed to the mystery of the cross and finds a new home in Him?

Yes, I think he would.

I'm a shitty person, but God the Father is not.

That is one of the most braindead things I've seen this week. However, the Irish "leaders" in both government and religion have a lengthy history of WTF?

So should they open it to people breaking the other 9 commandments or is it just #1 they should be ok with? Maybe they could let adulterers, murderers and thieves host meeting a there to make plans as well.

Enabling and encouraging sin is not love or blessing.
