Your "cheat on someone" meme is sad. Good luck.
It's not mine, but thanks.

Also, religious people need a better sense of humor.

before I get outraged, a little more context might be helpful.

were muslims invited to pray in the church as a show of neighborly ecumenism?

was the catholic priest reciting the shahada?

was the local imam consecrating the eucharist or something?

were they allowing muslims to worship in the church because of a lack of worship spaces for local muslims?

and of course, the laity isn't helpful in explaining what's going on. and if we wanted to get technical, the priest would be guilty of apostasy not heresy.

Yes, I think he would.

Not sure.

But the result of the decision is a public shouting match with church members calling the priest a heretic and the priest calling his church members bigots.

I've always been fascinated by those repelled by religion because of members of said religion broadcasting something they don't want to hear, having an immediate need to broadcast things they know members of the religion (even those they have never met or who wish them no ill) don't want to hear. It's kinda like PETA killing animals so they aren't killed. Just seems illogical.

After Katrina a local Baptist church held service in a Synagouge. No issues with that.

So they should host drunken orgies at the church? Or should they simply let people use the church to host services where they deny Jesus as the son of God, worship a different god, etc?

The church pees should be filled with sinners, they always are, but the church itself shouldn’t host or encourage sinning..the two are different and you know this..

Curious about this. Would you have had an issue if it was in a Mosque instead of a synagogue?

So you aren't an atheist or agnostic intentionally searching and posting memes in a thread you know will bring in those of the Christian faith in an attempt to mock their God and religion? That's what I attributes your memes and rhetoric to be.

My post was merely an observation that attempting to slight someone because you attribute them to a group where member(s) slighted or offended you didn't make sense to me.
