Yeah, that video was like a time machine. Holy crap.
But I loved their personal pan, tiny pizza too. Shake out some red pepper on it. Where are these located, I'm seriously going to get a road trip planned out.

I worked at Pizza Hut in the 90s when we removed the smoking section and stopped making our own dough.

What about Pole Position and Arch Rivals? That’s what my locals PH had growing up.

I had that. I had a few different years. I use to love going to Pizza Hut. Grandparents would drink beer, order a pan supreme and I’d get my personal pan and put 10 dollars with if quarters into whatever arcade they had at the time.

Is the BBQ Beef pizza coming back, too?
Crispy thin crust BBQ Beef was my go to and would get it all of the time. Have probably only been to Pizza Hut 2 or 3 times since they’ve taken it off the menu.

At one restored location in Pennsylvania, people are driving 2–3 hours just to eat there.
It's nice to take a vacation to the past every once and a while, but I fear society is becoming addicted to nostalgia in a bad way.

Loved Pizza Hut growing up but something changed. Someone said they used to make their own dough in-house?

We had a Pizza Hut up until around Covid. It finally closed. Now we have a Pizza Hut Express.

Pizza Hut started out in the south in the 70s, for many small town southerners, it was their first introduction to pizza. Moving into the 80s, that was the place for family meals for an occasion slightly more special than a fast food trip.
The pizza is no better or worse than any other chain pizza.
Youngsters today don't understand that eating out for most 70s/early 80s kids was a rare and special event.
