Passan also reported that Charlie Morton's option wasn't picked up.
I was told by people within the Braves that the disagreement wasn't on money, it was years. And, if I recall correctly, the AAV was similar to what we're giving Olson now.

The thing is, both moves were questionable when they happened, so this isn't some hindsight thing.
The only thing Olson had going for him over Freddie was age. Money would've been equal and Freddie was clearly still the better player at the time. (And now Olson is a year away from being the same ...

Extremely fun movie, and that's all that matters in the end.
With that said, the M/TV board needs to stop acting like it wants original content in its superhero movies because based on its reactions to this and the last Spider-man, it's clear the board just wants member berries.
