Cdaniel, at some point you had mentioned an intervention. Were the parents a part of it. In the recordings of them talking about him dying, it seemed to me that they were blindsided by his problem.

They were involved. I'll say it wasn't a formal intervention with a licensed therapist or anything. Just him, his parents, myself and I think his sister was involved. This all happened shortly after I had learned from a mutual friend that it was possible that Danny was doing cocaine. Although he confirmed that he had been smoking marijuana he did not admit to doing anything harder like cocaine or anything else. The rest of us in the meeting with him tried to convey that we all care for him and let him know that if he ever needed to talk or needed help that we were all there for him.

Gotcha, thanks for the explanation.

Could there be any two more polar opposites than these two Netflix documentary dads?
The Good
The Evil

Just finished the series. Excellent. It's unreal how bad this crisis is, and admirable how far out in front of it that Mr. Danny was. Props to him for all his work, and prayers for him and his family.

That black haired chick, M., is definitely Nollagirl504. I’ve never witnessed such a misguided person in my life, she likes the attention from red-pillers. The way she throws those stones, spouting off the most hateful & judgmental horseshite, you’d think she was sin-free !
She has my sympathy, too bad she doesn’t extend that same sympathy to anyone !

Do you think that the kid would still be alive if he wasn't a junkie?

So this story is about a dad blaming others for his kid being a junkie?
Is that really what you get out of it?

I think that is the dad from Abducted in Plain Sight on Netflix that let his daughter get kidnapped by his neighbor....twice...oh also I think he jerked off the neighbors dick too. The neighbor said the homosexual relationship with the dad was to get access to the daughter....real crazy stuff.
That was a strange story if I recall correctly.

wtf happened to Cleggett? She looked really cute in y2k now got all sloppy and looks like a stroke victim.
Maybe put the phone down and pay attention? There was literally a few minutes devoted to her being in a major car accident that almost killed her.

I thought Nollagirl504 was a westbanker from Marrero or Westwego.
M. sounds like she was running around Chalmette.
Nolla is self-righteous and judgmental, M a humble junkie.
Do we know for sure that they are one in the same?
They do look really similar and have that annoying af new orleans accent.
Ain't gonna lie, I watched me some Nollagirl after the election when she was pro-Trump and bashing women. It was a great angle, baws were eating it up in the comments.
Seems like Nolla has a better rack than M.

she is basically the perfect representation of all the women I know who live in st bernard
either jet black or jet blonde hair, too much makeup, gut tucked under a pair of tacky jeans, big fake tiddies
and YES iwhi so we can get that out of the way, but that's only because I have no self-respect.

I have not read the whole thread so excuse me if this has been discussed but did the documentary every discuss why the NOPD was a part of her practice? or what they said after the story broke? Or did I miss that segment?
Great doc all the way around, well done.

It wasn’t covered at all.

Yeah that neighbor had relations with the daughter, the mom, and the dad. Crazy stuff. The mom had like a one year affair with him, and that was AFTER he had abducted and sexually assaulted her daughter.
