Better hold on to my 10 year old Roper model.

Well I wasn’t taking any chances. If this one lasts 10 years, I’ll have gotten my moneys worth.

Chevron being overturned will assist in these govt over reaches.
Plus Trump if elected would abandon these garbage changes day 1.

If we see a 40% reduction in energy but it takes me 60% longer to dry my clothes are we really saving energy?
Yes you obviously don't understand what the word energy means

Do you have data to backup that assertion?
Are you fricking retarded? A reduction in energy = saving energy.

I tried my queen size quilt in a neighbors speed queen. It made their machine stop twice. I didn’t buy a speed queen. They may be great but I’ve got to be able to wash bedding without issues.
We wash our king size comforter in ours all the time, maybe your neighbor has an unusually small model or something

Our new Maytag washer failed under warranty due to the power connection issue they had. When the repair man couldn’t fix it, we bought a Samsung to replace it since the Samsung did not have the same problem. Oh was that a mistake!
I Replaced the also failed Samsung with one of the old mechanical washing machines I have on hand for rental property problems.
I’m having the same experience again With clothes drying remarkably faster and seemingly cleaner, Using the old-school machine and the Maytag dryer we bought with the first failed washer.
Next new purchase will definitely be a speed queen That’s what the repair guy told me to do to keep him from having him have to come out so often.

Why so angry? It's 2024, come out of the closet.
If the clothes aren't dry after the cycle and you have to run it again, there are no energy savings. I want to see how they derived their numbers. If it is anything like pharma safety/efficacy studies, they are dubious at best.

We finally broke down and bought a Speed Queen less than a year ago. We thought, no way could a washer be worth the money. Well folks, it is worth every penny and more. Zero frills...super clean clothes...a fraction of the time as that stupid HE washer.
This!
Bought a Speed Queen washer two weeks ago. One simple word describes the washer. AMAZING! Well worth the money.

Do you hear that cheering? It’s law students around the country celebrating the fact that they probably don’t have to learn admin law anymore
The loudest cheering is actually Big Law partners giddy over the 100,000s of billable hours that will come in relitigating thousands of cases. There may or may not have been champagne popped in our managing partner's office on Friday afternoon.

My wife’s Speed Queen set is only about 2-3 years old. Biden, and all the idiots who support him, can kindly go frick themselves.

When our front load washer died a few years ago we were going to to back to a top loader and buy a speed queen. Our neighbor owns an appliance store and is the local speed queen dealer. He would have been happy to sell us a SQ but said the LG he sells is about 99% as reliable and 60% the price. Absolutely didn't recommend the GE or Whirlpool even though he sold them. We bought the LG and it's been great.

You should edit this.
It’s the opposite.

Of course it is. They are 2500 bucks minimum a set and the only viable choice for a true OT baller.

A new kind of dryer has appeared. One that uses a fridge compressor to pull moisture from clothes. Really interesting.
You're starting to see them in combo machines.
They are electric dryers but pull less than 10amps and use 110-120Vac.
They are efficenct but can be crazy expensive to repair.
Condenser Dryer.
