First symptoms were noted 4 days after the cruise started, and only 2 days after the landfill excursion. The deaths started only 10 days after the cruise started

the landfill excursion was before they boarded the ship, I believe

the couple was traveling around South America before they got on the cruise

then yes this case in Switzerland is coincidental and not connected to this cruise ship.

I read the person in Switzerland was contact-traced back to a contact from the ship.

I believe this is correct. The wife of the infected Swiss man has yet to exhibit any symptoms.

The MV Hondius cruise ship, affected by a hantavirus outbreak, departed Argentina on April 1, 2026, for a month-long expedition, meaning it has been at sea for just over a month as of early May 2026

The first person on the ship complained about symptoms on April 5 and died on April 10th

Not speculative dumbass once again use google before saying ignorant shite

You don't have to keep editing your post to make yourself look cooler. Literally don't care.

If they let people off that boat without a lengthy quarantine period they're insane.

At this point you absolutely quarantine the remaining people. No question

Yes, they removed the sick people in hazmats suits to be treated. That makes sense

Everyone else should quarantine. If they get sick they should also be removed to be treated. Everytime another person leaves sick the quarantine time starts over.

I haven’t seen anywhere reputable yet they are letting everyone leave . If they do that’s just stupid

I heard a grown man crying about this morning on a podcast. Embarrassing.
