Seems useful if you are near your vehicle when a fire breaks out or when a person has an emergent medical condition.

I’m often not near my vehicle.

And I'm not a Dawg fan, man.

FWIW, I've only ever had to use the jumper cables and fix a flat so far. I also carry a fire suppressant ball you can just toss in to extinguish.

Got wasp spray used MANY cans, dog spray (once, he didn't get a bite in but broke the skin).

I've pulled a cutlass on crackheads/meth heads a few times

It makes a statement

Hell, I've got a 10mm socket I keep in the little tray under the knobs because I know I'll need one at some point and it won't be in the toolbox

I would be more concerned with fentanyl

Always been a good practice to just consume factory packaged candy.

However, those little smarties things are easy to reuse.

When I was a kid people made homemade candy and gave it out. No issues.

At least when we were kids we walked for miles (unsupervised) to get that candy, thereby working off some calories. Now they've got that trunk or treat shite.

its mostly a bunch of tall tales and boogey man stories.

the only real danger is the furthering of the diabetes epidemic and my increased waist line this time of year from left candy in my house.

tote guns everywhere they go

While I don't begrudge anyone exercising their constitutional right, we did have a guy in our neighborhood facebook page post about carrying a gun around trick or treating because you never knew who you were going to run into when you knock on their door.

He was also scared because people that didn't live in the neighborhood brought their kids there to trick or treat. Yes, hundreds of kids walking around but you might run into the real Chuckie.

10mm is handy in the woods, car or home. Should always have one on hand.

I prefer this, as you can cleave the head easier or remove a limb.

Back in the mid-1970s a child in Houston died from poison Halloween candy, but it was his father that killed him and not candy received from a stranger.

Poison Halloween Candy

I was a young attorney for an oil company in Houston at that time, and the perp was an employee of our company. I cooperated with the Harris County DA to line up some of the father's co-workers to testify against him.

I saved a big Tide Pods container and put candy in there on Halloween. I use it for older kids; the younger ones get their candy from a big bowl.

According to the CDC 94.5% of Americans will be stung by a bee.

According to AAA 81% of Americans have had a flat tire.

According to the NFPA about 32% of Americans will have a fire in either their home or automobile.

According to the FBI Americans have a 2.58% chance of being a victim of a crime. That number is about 75% less than that for violent crimes.

One of these things is not like the others...one of these things doesn't belong.....
