You would think they would lower their prices.

I'm surprised by that drop. I thought baws were making up the difference with their Ultras and White Claws.

One of the few things I can credit the younger generation with. Alcohol should be phased out.

In market cap, not P/L. Your thread title is misleading.

Profits for those companies have been in the billions.

I know a BIG part of it is THC drinks. Why do you think all of a sudden there's all these articles about the dangers of weed? Big Liquor knows what's going on. And they're trying to kill it. Luckily I don't think it's gonna work.

Alcohol industry has yet to figure out that it has a lot to do with their prices especially at restaurants which I know isn’t their fault but definitely affects their business. Paying 25$ for a shot of pretty average liquor in a mixed drink doesn’t seem ideal anymore for most people

People don’t interact anymore.

They don’t go to bars or clubs.

This is actually a pretty damning aspect of our society.

We aren’t social.

I rarely drink anymore. Only for special events now really, and when I do imbibe, it's not very much at all.

Bought some delta 9 drinks for the first time. Gonna have a test run with them. I was working on my truck today so beer was had and is still being had. Maybe tomorrow.

They are also expensive as shite, 4 was over 20 bucks.

I had an afib episode in 2022. Blood thinners and fear of dehydration and hangovers brought me down to a couple beers a month. And by couple I do mean 2.

Sorry I let you down guys.

As a millennial my drinking these days is pretty much nonexistent. It just doesn’t entice me anymore.

I haven’t had an alcoholic beverage in roughly 3 years. Don’t care if others do. Just wasn’t good for the family at the time and stuck to it.

The kids around here still drink plenty.

wonder how much porn has to do with it?

Seems like everyone has a vice. Maybe porn has supplanted alcohol?
