Yes me too. Same thing. All of those symptoms after flying home from client meeting in NY.

The shakes made my wife think I’m just an alcoholic. (She’s not wrong)

Possible, but they did every test under the sun. Wouldn't they have discovered something like that?

Reading the details in hindsight does sound like it could be though.

I had something very similar. No shakes but three days of dry cough. Very tired all three days. No fever however.

I was tired like I had the flu.

I think that would've hit the news, no? Tons of hospitalizations for the same unknown illness.

Dont know, but why dont they take a few of those people who had the mystery virus that wasnt flu a few months back, and get the antibodies and mix them with orange juice to make the serum and cure everyone.

In Outbreak it took them like 20 minutes once they found the monkey.

Why weren’t there a bunch of people in the ICU with unknown viral pneumonia?

I think we all want to believe this I just don’t know that there is a lot of evidence to support it.

I was tired like I had the flu.

1. I strained a rib muscle coughing at night. Also had weird rib muscle cramps that have never happened and are apparently from coughing(Googled).
2. Felt okay one day at work so I decided to walk on treadmill at lunch. I felt so fatigued afterward I didn't know if I'd be able to drive home from work.
3. Spanish Town ball I didnt want to go but gf insisted. I sat most of the night and could barely walk to a table to talk to friends before needing to use one of their chairs to sit and rest.
4. I didn't have fever but ached often and coughed all night over the two weeks.

I have No idea what I had but it was weird and wasn't normal flu or cold. But by Fat Tuesday I was okay and traveled to Denver. We waddled all over mountains and Shoveled snow at 7k feet. I'd get outta breath at that altitude and because I'm fat but never felt fatigued.

My daughter is in good shape and on the high school swim team.

In January got a respiratory virus that was not flu.

High temperatures, trouble breathing lasted two weeks.

She developed pneumonia.

Her younger sister had small cold and fever for two days.

I think she had covid 19.

But who knows.

Yes.

Back in late January I started with this horrific cough, I have never had one like this before and it was completely unproductive. Dry but it was that deep barking sound when I did. I would become unable to breathe well, which led to more coughing. Fever suddenly goes up to 102.5. I go to urgent care where they swab for flu and x Ray’d for pneumonia. Flu came back negative, as did x ray.

The next morning I drive four hours away for work, where I was working in a hospital when I became dizzy, coughing so hard I couldn’t breathe and my whole body hurt but not muscle ache hurt. A nurse checks my fever and it was 104.5. I go to ER at the hospital because she said my cough was alarming. My pulse ox was low and my skin began feeling numb due to hypoxia.

They did more x rays and said I had pneumonia and bloodwork said flu A. But I had already had Flu A at Christmas. And honestly it was the horrible cough that killed me for weeks, I ended up fracturing a rib from coughing so hard. And, I just stopped using my inhaler.

The flu has NEVER caused me to get like that. I had literally zero other cold symptoms; no runny nose, no congestion.

Could it be possible I had that plus the flu? This was January 28th and as of now, my rib is finally healing and my energy is slowing coming back but I haven’t been the same since.

2/17 - 2/24 I had a nasty dry cough. 2/24 - 2/27 my son had Flu A so I was convinced I had it even though I didn't have any sinus congestion, got swabbed, but I did not. i ran fever between 100-102 and had some severe exhaustion as well, cough kept going and got worse. When my fever was breaking I sweat so bad I went through 3 shirts in 3 hours. my cough continued for 4-5 days but I started coughing up bloody mucus. I resumed workouts 5 days later (when coughing mostly subsided) and it still took another ~2 weeks before my lungs were feeling 100% while exercising.

When it all happened I was completely dismissive of it being COVID-19. However, the longer this goes on the more convinced I am that I had it but there's no way to know. We went to New Orleans at the end of January so I can't out it totally out of the realm of possibility.

Probably true, but why weren't there people being admitted to the Hospital since Jan?

Most of the COVID19 cases today do not require hospitalization, hard to get the actual stats from the data that is available, but it is a small percentage.
