That dude at the end of the hall has nerves of steel! He stood around the whole time without flinching.
Like he was some sort of cardboard cutout…
So…some sort of gang thing? What sort of building was that? Punchee/shooter was at some sort of tiny counter signing something at the beginning, right?

Did they know each other or was it random? Seemed like maybe they knew it each other? I know sometimes these are random.

Not in my jury room. That’s a mild scolding at best.

He brought fists to a gun fight.
The guy took the punch pretty well. The other guy did not take the bullet very well.

That was so satisfying. But the guy fricked up. Should have shot him while he was on the ground and the guy was being aggressive. Shooting him by the door is gonna get him a murder charge.

The shooter wasn’t even the one who got punched.
ETA. Never mind. It’s the same guy.

Attempted murder by the sucker punch guy who got shot.
Attempted murder by the guy who shot the gun.
His bullet was simply more effective than that guy’s fist, so it ended up being murder.
We probably need a fuller picture of what happened before we cast judgements either way.
I think they are both at fault when reviewing the tape we have. Personally, I would’ve been tempted to shoot the guy in the knee, instead of the chest, but maybe he felt like his life was in danger in the future if he didn’t end the sucker punchers life now.

If I was on the jury the shooter would walk a free man.
He may be charged with murder, but it takes a jury to convict.

Can't fault this at all. Dude was able to walk out of the building unimpeded, came back in solely to shoot dude.
He was concussed and suffering from a brain injury. He still felt threatened and thought the assailant was going to kill him. He defended himself. Again, you can’t judge what he thought or interpreted because his brain just got scrambled.

It’s clear cut, and I am 100% confident that a jury would view this as murder and not manslaughter.
If I am on the jury, he walks a free man on any and all charges.

Not only that but I’m buying him a few beers after the trial. That POS sucker punched someone half his size (which could have killed him) and the aggressor was still within 10 feet,,,,,good kill in my book.
