I remember the days where this board applauded taking Miller over Spears due to injury concerns.Quick Recap on Miller injuries. Bitched out of National Championship game. Bitched out of half of last season. Currently bitching out of camp. Dude doesn’t love football. He loves what it does for him.Unr...

I’ve been owning one of these since LIV Houston Baw. Go to the event in Dalllas in September and grab you one. ...
re: Would you trade Hawk and a 1st for Walker Kessler?

I’ll be honest, I’d like a center before camp. I don’t want to make a panic trade at the deadline to save the season and then have to try to figure out the center’s new role while we have 25 games to scramble for play in positioning.
Overpay for the center now. Get him in camp. Get him acclimat...

The Wyndham Clark hate early in this thread was a bit much. Not sure what he did to be hated other than have a great year last year and come back down to earth this season. Happens a lot to players once they have more media and sponsorship obligations. The true barometer for him will be the next co...

Just listen to 1-2 interviews of Ziaire and it’s pretty easy to spot
I like Joe Burrow, so I guess you are technically right ...

Let’s just get it over with and Tank for Shedeur. Start Haener and Krull, that would guarantee 0-17. ...

He oddly was a good Ingram stopper as a young player and then started getting injured repeatedly. He also likes men. ...

JV hit the offensive boards 82 games a year, Zion does it for 15 games a year. ...
re: Karlo is our starting center
Posted by 3PieceSpicy on 7/17/24 at 6:07 pm
Yup JV was huge against the Sabonis and Sengun types that gave problems to the rest of the league, but not us as much due to Jonas’s strength and ability to make them work on both ends. Colossal L letting Jonas go for nothing. The only way to make up for it is to use that TPE and get Kessler. WCJ is...
re: Karlo is our starting center

I’m doing neither. I think he’s probably a fine backup most nights, similar to a healthy Nance. We still have a hole and need another big that can actually rebound and bang with all the big centers in the league for 20 mins a night....

re: Griff: BI is "mechanically incapable" of being traded under the new CBA rules

That’s fine. Trade CJ then. A) he was the worst rotation player in nba playoff history last year. B) He’s the dumbass that signed off on this CBA as the President of the Player’s Association. ...

I blame most of those turnovers on Jordan Hawkins and our other guards being weirdos that can’t dribble at all. Karlo had to handle the ball way too much in this game. ...

Zion would definitely sacrifice himself and bulk up. He already did it basically for 4.5 out of 5 seasons ...

I really just think there are so many elite and nearly elite centers in the league that we will be toast if we go small ball and/or heavy mins to Theis and Missi. If Jokic, Embiid, Wemby, Sengun, Dallas bigs, Giannis, Sabonis, Kat/Gobert/Naz, Chet/Hartenstein,Porz, etc weren’t such threats on our co...

Our biggest hole is center. If we fill that hole, I think we are actually a contender. As I outlined. We need a legit big, even if it means overpaying for one
And to me, 2 picks in the 20’s and 2 swaps that will never convey is a steal for a dude that is basically a cheap arse Rudy Gobert that m...

I’d offer Utah 2 unprotected 1’sts and 2 swaps and just get a Kesslertrade done. We need a big body for Jokic, Embiid, Wemby, Jonas, Sabonis, Sengun, Dallas’s 2 bigs, etc
Our picks should be in the high teens/20’s. I doubt the swaps ever convey and if they do, it won’t be extreme. Utah is going n...
