re: Pels vs Magic

He's talking about the Pels
We trying to diminish Indy's team full of 3 stars now?
Realistically, the only 4 players that should be safe are

Fears, Queen, Peavy and Karlo

Everyone else should be on the trade block

I like Jose, Herb, Murphy, and Bey

But if you can get picks back in the chamber and try to do what OKC did while they sucked during those first few SGA years, that's our ticket to maybe having a good basketball team in 4 years.

It's not kicking the can down the road with players that have proven they are indisputably Losers if cast as the number 1, 2, or 3 player on an NBA team.

I'd like to keep Murphy, but not at the cost of not getting 3-4 picks for him. He's proven to be a loser in the current role we need him to play. The picks would be more valuable to maybe building a winning program again one day.

Zion would be worth more thrown off of a bridge than him logging another second within earshot or arms length of Fears and Queen. Each day he is here damages our future.

Herb is overrated and any positive asset we get back for him would be beneficial to the future.

I love Jose, but the same goes for him as well.

Bey might also net us a 1st rd pick to a contender, so he needs to go as well.

Missi can be sold for 2nds. He's fine, but doesn't fit with Queen.

Hawk can be thrown off the same bridge as Zion. He might even find a way to miss landing in the water.

Vele is 28 or some shite and we spent a 4th on him. Surely we can spend a 2nd or 3rd on a 23-24 year old lol.
I'm good with it. I think it would be fun to get in a fist fight with Ja at a local Sonic

As much as I hate Zion, I wouldn't fight him for obvious reasons.

I'd trade Zion for AD right now tbh

Queen's slow lazy arse

Queen had an injury that was supposed to keep him out until December and he came ready to play on opening day in October

Zion's been an absolute frick up train wreck on and off the court for 7 straight years and you have never called him "a lazy arse".

It's getting to be a little bit strange. You have to be related to Zion or one of his very few IRL friends to continuously come to his support and disparage every other player and coach around him as if Zion not missing 60% of our games and 100% of our playoff games hasn't been the number 1, 2, 3, and 4 issue for the Pels franchise.
He's worse than Willie career wise

Willie actually could improve

James has been dogshit at 2 stops now
Okay. Trae still wanted to go to the Wizards. So let's pretend we never traded for Poole. Maybe we get involved as a 3rd team. We get Poole, Bey. Hawks get CJ and Kispert. Wizards get Trae.

The result is still the same. People are acting like we could have flipped CJ for Trae and that is not reality. The NBA really isn't a free market trade wise in terms of players with a certain name recognition.
Yes, bc Zion dominating the ball is bad for ball movement and other players getting rhythm. He's also so poor defensively that our defense is in constant rotation.

People are also underrating that Fears has steadily gone downhill since Zion and Poole have been more available. He's a poor fit with both and both have taken away from his strengths and ability to get into a rhythm.

This is another reason why Z needs to go. He's limiting the development of our rookies. Poole or Dejounte Murray will need to go as well.

Time to fire up the trade machine for Zion again. Dude got waxed by a 41 year old and Jaxson Hayes tonight.
Pick 8, Pick 40. Send them back some salary. Justin Reid makes $12M next year and maybe Cincy would be tempted to upgrade their defense.
Bill Barnwell dropped his Awards column on ESPN and he ranked Dart over Shough partly due to "Shough's rough game against the Falcons."

Let's be real, most media guys aren't smart enough to be successful in real jobs that are based on having actual expertise vs having an opinion.

Tyson is more of a 2nd Rd guy. He averages 11-12 yards a catch in college. He's a small possession WR (listed 6ft 2, 200-) that I've seen drop the ball in multiple key spots. I think we all would come to hate that pick if we drafted him at 8.
I'd take him back just so we can get a 2nd or 3rd Rd pick for him again in a few years lol

Bigperm literally blamed Dumars for Roster construction a few posts above

Let's see what Dumars can do with a Zion trade and a HC hire. I'm not out on him yet. Griffin left a mess. I don't think Sam Presti could've fixed it in 6 months.
His left tackle got beat immediately and he protected the ball from a fumble. What the hell is wrong with you guys?

We have people acting like Dumars is responsible for all of the issues over the last 7 years. His only questionable move was not protecting the pick for Queen. The CJ/Poole swap honestly was fine considering we got Bey back in the deal. Fears has a lot of potential. Peavy is a better than average 2nd Rd pick. We also got unlucky in the lottery.

Griff was giftwrapped a huge trade for AD and the number 1 pick and he pissed down his leg for 6 straight years. That's the main issue here. Dumars inherited the worst "franchise guy" and one of the worst coaching and overall rosters in the league.

This is Griffin's roster, minus Bey, Queen, Fears, Poole and Peavy. This is Griffin's fault for being terrible for 6 years straight. Dumars arguably hit on 4/5 of his off-season player personnel moves.
