That quote you posted was from 2024. Two years before Oats tried to bring Bediako back. That thread was about Cliff Omoyuri, the title is clear. Alabama had picked him up in the portal. I said that we had been missing a big man like Bediako. But by signing Omoyuri we had a new one. Do you think that post is a gotcha? A post from 2024 about Cliff Omoyuri.

That wasn’t a witch hunt. He was stupid enough to get recorded by the FBI in the course of an investigation into money laundering and fraud. Then he refused to meet with his boss LSU and instead lawyered up. Refusing to meet with the boss got him fired. The wiretap got him the show cause.

He is lucky the FBI didn’t get hit with some type of criminal charge like some others caught up in the investigation.
