I agree, in a civilized society.

The problem is that some factions don’t want us to have a civilized society anymore, so the lines get blurred.

Back in the day, I assume that sucker punching/attacking someone like that could have been expected to lead to fatal retaliation.
Which kind of society is better? One where thuggish behavior is discouraged at the point of a sword, or one where civilized people are expected to remain civilized while other people act like barbarians?
Obviously the third option, I.e., a truly civilized society is best, but is that still an option?

Cold bitch.

I’m sure there is a great back story to all of this, but I don’t see a problem. Fight fair or suffer the consequences.

Eh, I think the video shows a man who snapped and took some vigilante justice. Might be in some cosmic sense justified. But I think the law is against him in this case.

It looked like a coordinated robbery by the sucker puncher and the other guy who almost moved in just after the punch.

This guy gets off easy. Hopefully.

Severe head trauma. Guy was probably out on his feet and don't remember shite. Cannot be held accountable.

You think the guy who moved in and allowed the guy who got punched to walk out the door (literally let him walk right passed him) was part of a robbery duo rather than a Good Samaritan trying to stop a fight?

Edit: Maybe you’re talking about the guy in the darker clothing. But even he seems more like a bystander until evidence otherwise.

Lesson here is don’t assault people who want nothing to do with you or you might catch a bullet.

If you don’t think some wires are ready to snap I don’t know what to tell you.

My advice is to not know rocks lest you hit the wrong hornet.

It's probably some level of criminal homicide

But it's the product of a dysfunctional system. You're not supposed to kill that guy because the criminal justice system is supposed to strip him of his life for a lengthy period of time for the dangerous and unprovoked assault. That's not happening, so don't be surprised when the rules change.

Ok, so the guy committed some variant of a homicide offense, let's admit that. And then let's more or less look the other way in the same manner violent criminals are being coddled by our elites all over the country, right? Fair is fair.

If this was in Illinois where they got rid of cash bail. Then I have no issue saying not guilty to the shooter.

quote:

“So there are a whole list of violent crimes, burglary, robbery, arson, kidnapping, almost all drug offenses even drug distribution, DUI offenses, even DUI offenses that are involving a fatality, that do not qualify for detention under the Illinois Safety Act. To me, that’s going to mean a lot of individuals are committing crimes and being released immediately, if not within a couple of days,” he said. Illinois is the first state in the country to abolish cash bail.
