Entergy says they have restored backup power to S&WB.

However, all 8 transmission lines providing power to NOLA and parts of Jefferson Parish are "not in service."

Thats what we were telling our director. He tried saying some dumb shite but I have a relative who has worked through numerous storms and it was pretty much 'on the clock' for the first 24-48 hours then crews get split up and they work 8-12 hours depending on the amount of people and the severity of the aftermath.

This dude is so lost its scary... anyways sorry to vent....i know everyone is dealing with something.

Has anybody else heard about in Houma at Oschner terreboune. Generators supposedly failed. And nurses are hand bagging vent pts at the moment.
This is from a guy who works with him. Trying to confirm. This is sickening.
