Thanks! Found her a generator up here in Nashville so we're going to pick that up so she'll have it for next time.

Anyone know the status for the rest of Metairie?

Entergy estimated September 8, but I still don't have power. A lot of others (at least according to the outage map) appear to still be out too in Metairie and River Ridge.

Is it your whole neighborhood? Your block? The questions are whether the general area is getting power fed to it and whether there's localized damage that's preventing power in the area from getting to your house.

Airline Park has power!

Saw several people got it back last night but it later went out again. Going to have my mom wait until morning to confirm it's still on before driving back but her neighborhood has power as of about 2pm today

ETA: Getting her to confirm with neighbors in the area but her Ring sent her a notification that it had powered back up.

The silver lining from this is. My 16 year old roof is getting replaced. I'm getting all new fencing and I have enough fire wood for the winter.
Only going to cost me $10,500.

I'm not sure about how much terror Cristobal was responsible for reigning over.

Does anyone have any info on Southeastern? I received a email yesterday that power was back on the northern side of campus but that’s about it. What’s the power situation in Hammond?

Went thru chauvin and near cocodrie this morning. That place got ripped. All along that highway was nothing but devastation. It will take many many years before anything down there looks anywhere near normal.
