I had the self same experience with a box of Indian hay and an ornery horse cutter. Twernt nothing I could do but watch my little lady walk out the door hand in hand with some young rapscallion . FIFY. Maybe, just maybe, this isn't the real reason she doesn't talk to you. Could it be she thinks you are a raging emotional toxic alcoholic instead, and this episode was just icing on the cake? Perhaps you just "admit" you did it, for the greater good of getting the family back together. If you love your daughter, you'll sacrifice anything (including yourself) to have and protect her.
