When you get paid by clicks, this stuff will happen almost hourly.

He’ll bounce from Gainesville as soon as the NFL comes calling. That’s my thing with Lane. He isn’t going to stay anywhere longer than 5 years.

If this is true, at least you won’t be paying any buyouts. And presumably the program would be in great shape for the next guy.
Well they’re in a much better city. They’ll always have that going for them.
Yep the climb to the same old cable prices continues…..

I was told again today LSU was given a number on Nick Saban from Sexton. They didn’t say no. Again the chances of this happening are very very slim due to age and his pure “want” to coach again but there is a legit offer out there.

How are chances very very slim that Saban would accept if Sexton gave the number? Why would he give a number if “chances of this happening are very very slim due to age and his pure “want” to coach again”?

Please answer those questions. Things just don’t pass the smell test. These statements are illogical.

Makes sense. Lane doesn't want this to frick up

He did everything but say “LSU” at his press conference.
“Proximity to talent, large stadium, recent national championships, etc…. “
I don’t even want the guy, but it was obvious what he was throwing out. I’d imagine they’re deep in conversation.
Who actually believes this? Please move on.
You really could hire him, and if you spend more money than anyone else, win a NC.

That’s where college football is right now.
Y’all got an 80 year head start on NIL. What do you expect??
College football will end up like the NBA. You might not even know the coach. All money will go to luring players. Sad but true. Programs that realize this will have the most success going forward.

Was hard to find a place to park on campus.

The school has always been neglected. It needs major investment in its physical campus. It should have a congruent French architecture, but it is too late for that. So many opportunities missed…
Mike Golesh would be a great choice.
0%. I do not want our program putting diesel in his Viking. I want to find someone who wants a Viking.
This is what I would do if I were AD. Get a guy like this, load the program with NIL funding, and make him look like a genius with better players than everyone else. Take the heat on the hire for a bit until everyone buys in.

It’s Saban…. eSPN never saw it coming.

Well, problem is he also said this…

Quick scan of posting history shows that OP previously claimed that we have taken a coach right out from under the nose of his current employer. And that it would not be announced until the end of the season.

So which is it?
