It was much worse in the early 90’s than it is today. 421 murders that year, if my memory is correct. Enormous housing projects full of violent criminals at every turn, on and on. For comparison, most of those projects are now gone (this ruined NO East & Algiers as those people resettled), and the murder rate is currently hovering in the 30’s more than half way through the year.

I can remember my family’s security alarm being set off a couple times back then, bikes being stolen, garage robbed, etc in those days in our upper middle class neighborhood. Yes, it’s much better now.
Need some vitamin K after seeing that.

As someone alluded to earlier, the Kia K5 has stepped in.
Our governor is dumb. Cancelling diversions, alienating the only world-class city in your state. Just a total dumbass.

I invite the downvotes.
I’ve had a Rheem tankless for 13 years without a single issue. I do flush it every couple years though. Easy task.
Definitely remember that. Just another in a long line of actions taken that destroyed our coast. Removing the coastal bedrock and using it to make roads. Great move.
At this point it is apparent that it is only a matter of time before Iran garnishes a nuclear weapon with the ability to deliver a bomb across continents on the tip of a missile.

Our time, money, and effort would be better spent perfecting our anti-missile systems. If we perfect and control the world’s defense against these weapons, we once again become the only nation with nuclear offensive capabilities - something we enjoyed for a short time after WWII. Maybe this time we can do a better job guarding our secrets.
Amazing that the first several reactions were concerns over topography. Perfect example of what’s wrong with the internet. Tunnels of this type are designed to go UNDER WATER!!

They’re expanding grocery delivery in your area. But by all means buy more toilet paper.

those camps won't be there centuries from now nor will the island

I’m in my late 40’s, and when I was a kid, there were remote camps all over the place and a whole lot more land. All gone now. We’ve lost so much in so little time it is astounding. With the lack of understanding and leadership on this issue, the battle is already lost.
This post reminds me of my years attending all-boys schools. The one female teacher who hadn’t yet gone through menopause was always seen as “hot”, almost regardless of her appearance vs the general population.
Yeah look it up. Might learn something.

ETA: Literally go to Google and type in “Iran dual use infrastructure”. Hit enter. Read.

Thanks for the down vote.

Should reevaluate where you get your news and/or who you let tell you things.

Everyone In the administration has been very clear that dual-use infrastructure is next.

Had a GE that died and I replaced it with a Frigidaire Professional. Was only a year and a half ago, but so far so good. In the same footprint as the GE, it has much more interior space and two ice makers. I doubt you'll be disappointed.

He resembles Dexter a bit.

Setting up the removal of the Cuban regime. Going to be an interesting few months.

So tired of Eric Daugherty. Constantly posted here with his big alert light and his eye catching ALL CAPS. What a joke. Please stop following and posting his regurgitated crap. Thanks.

Complete bullshite to manipulate the markets. In the past several hours, Iran and Israel have traded missile strikes. Cluster munitions have been used on Tel Aviv.

Firing typically ceases after ceasefires, not before them FYI.
Funny that Axios reports that “Iran mediators make last ditch push… for cease fire” while posting the worst picture they could find of our negotiator.

The final blow will come from the Iranian people themselves.

They will be absolutely slaughtered unfortunately.

I give Moscona a lot of shite.

My theory is that he's formed a relationship with the Governor and they talk off the record a whole lot.
