It's more than that.

They go on the offensive/poke the bear/kick the beehive and when there's any push back they scream that they're being attacked.

I used to think it was strange behavior. It's clearly intentional.

Just watched her video complaining. She sounds just like all the annoying women that used to frequent F&M's after 3am back in 2002.

Who voted for this idiotic piece of ridiculousness in New Orleans? I want names.

Oh, wow, she really is stupid huh?

Yet she can tell people who she doesn't know they are not her constituents?

I hope she gets really mad and breaks out "keep ma name out yo frickin' mouth."

Is it just me or did people not act like this not even a decade ago? I did not know any "SJW" folks. Was it the internet?

Not a good look for a State Rep to be responding to a thread on an anonymous Sports Forum.

They were around but in very small quantities. Mainly college campuses.

A couple of their pet issues have gained widespread adoption in media/entertainment and it's opened the flood gates. Transgenderism being one. When people can desire to cut off their anatomy and large elements of society talk about that being brave instead of something requiring help - it kind of lays the groundwork for a bunch of other batshit insanity to come out of the shadows.

This shite has always existed, just watch PCU from the late 80’s. However, it didn’t get into overdrive on the “normie” channels of the internet (facebook, twitter, mainstream news sites, etc) until Obama’s second term. By the 2016 election, it wasn’t just weird people on tumblr spreading this nonsense, but your coworkers, hs classmates, and people at your church. It’s so mainstream now, that it’s actually “edgy” to be a-political. If you don’t post about hating conservatives and punching nazis, you are one.

She has been in office for about 5 minutes. No one told her there is no way to win the argument she started.

That's well said.

Now that I think about it, the only time I heard much at all was from the lyrics of RATM. But it rocked. I didnt care.

someone didn't hang out at free speech alley in the 1980s.

back then the loons were screaming about Reagan and Iran-Contra. just as angry and irrational as the sjws are now.

i posted about this earlier on the Poli board

3nOut:

quote:

fortunately, i feel like republicans came around to realize those aren't winning issues and that people for the most part want to be left tf alone.

my response:

quote:

yes as they ceded those positions (in Obama's 2nd term), the left had to establish a "new left" and that's when they started giving real support to real crazy ideas. that's why i always crack up when leftists claim we're moving right

right on

obviously she is a crusader, has a strong desire for the spotlight and suddenly has the power to start to fix the system

one thing she has done, we are talking about a previously anonymous state rep from NOLA

i'm going to post a pic of the student letters to the reveille in the months leading up to reagan speaking at our commencement at LSU in 1990.

they sound EXACTLY like the stuff on twitter now.

in fact, the loons actually held an alternative commencement (complete with communist lsu faculty) at the greek theater while the real one was going on at tiger stadium.

i remember the bozo parade across campus en route to their 'commencement' to try & disrupt everyone going into Tiger stadium.

it honestly wasn't much different back then. the hatred for reagan burned as white hot as the hatred for trump.

eta i was the first person to post a letter defending reagan in the paper that got published. reading it now 22yo me still sounds exactly like something i would post on here.

one of my first callouts on this board was posting my letter to the editor where i was mocking people melting over bush or chaney speaking

AND THIS WAS WHEN I WAS A BIG LIBERAL
