I'll be honest; I could give a sh!t less if these people fight chickens or not. I've never been into it myself nor even known anyone who was, but I just don't care.

Had a video come across my Instagram feed of a fight where the rooster attacked the handler while wearing the razor blades. Hit his femoral and bled out in the ring.

This is accurate. I had a couple of Australorp roosters with my hens for a little while. They would do their own thing for the most part. But the bigger bird would always seemingly get tired of the smaller one crowing at around 4 PM, and start kicking his arse all over the yard for 15 minutes until he stopped.
You knew it was on when you heard the little guy choked off mid-crow.

For sure. Cock fighting has been a thing in numerous cultures, like in Mexico. Certainly not just black folks did it in Louisiana. But I do take this to be an extension of dog fighting at this point in history. After all, maybe unless they've got it to where the chickens don't kill each other, that's a little messed up.
