And no one in legacy media will call her shite out.

Just like the typical Spirit customer will only remember that Trump was in office when it died.

Well you get what you pay for ultimately. But in 34 years, Spirit never one had a passenger fatality. Theres only a few airlines worldwide that can say this.

Years ago I flew them once from Houston to Vegas round trip for less than $100 on Spirit. Unlike a lazy idiot, I read the rules so packed a backpack and was good to go. Had zero issues.

Flew them many times, especially to Orlando, bunch of trips with just a backpack. Zero issues. Will be missed.

I flew it twice a week for years and had little problems. You just had to learn how to navigate their arse backwards policies and always have a backup ticket on another airline since they often cancel flights.

One of the first flights a lady boarded and said “look at all of my beautiful brown people”.

When I die and they lay me to rest
Gonna go to the place that's the best
When they lay me down to die
Goin' up to the spirit in the sky

I’m sad for their now unemployed pilots, but that’s about all I’m sad for.

They are not an American legend.

Guy watching the wheel come off, priceless. I would have ordered a ton of booze on that flight.

Murdered by Elizabeth Warren.

quote:In March 2024, Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren celebrated the federal government’s successful lawsuit to kill a $3.8 billion merger between JetBlue and Spirit, calling the move a “Biden win for flyers.”

At the time, Warren and the Department of Justice argued that preventing the two airlines from combining would protect low-cost seats and prevent “runaway airline consolidation.”

However, following that court victory, Spirit’s path to survival vanished. The Florida-based carrier, which had lost nearly $2 billion since 2020, faced mounting debt and engine issues that it could not overcome without the JetBlue lifeline.

Seems like most people knew that without that merger it was going down, but Sen Pocahontas is trying to blame Trump and a Reagan appointed judge to cover she backed Biden’s Autopen’s lawsuit to stop the merger and then cheered when they won.

I still remember her fake as shite “spontaneous” live stream from her house when she started to run for the Dem nomination for President in 2020. She look almost as fake drinking a beer as Schumer did grilling a cheeseburger. She might be the most dishonest Senator, and that’s saying a lot considering the rest of Senate.

I agree I loved spirit I flew all over Latin America with them. Honduras, Guatemala, Colombia, and the new Orleans-Cancun flight many times. price was awesome and I always fly with just a small backpack for free.

there were often angry folks at the luggage sizer thing paying $100 and hating it. but it you can read rules you could really do some cheap travels on spirit. I wouldn't want to go trans-atlantic in that seat with no legroom but you cant beat MSY-CUN. you could take a bus from Cancun to vallodalid or Tulum and it was awesome and cost nothing.

spirit will be missed.

Wait.

You would buy a ticket on spirit AND a backup ticket on a different airline?

I took a $49 round-trip from DFW to Chicago for a Cubs game and $80 round-trip to Miami for a Marlins game. Spirit, I will miss you.
