A 19 year old male isnt actually all that mature.
In some ways maybe not but in 1985 at 15 I was a commercial truck driver and knew what responsibility was and the consequences of my actions.

My friends just built a mother in law unit on there property( an awesome pad ) that their 16 year old son decided to move in. He was told to move back in the house after a month because he kept fking up and doing things like leaving the door open and letting the dogs out.

Doesn’t appear so. Maybe this guy’s son is a drug addict and he has no idea. Now this is sad

I never messed with pills but this sounds Xanax activity

Lol, sure you did.

Boomers who constantly repeat this make believe shite tend to be the most incompetent out of touch people Ive ever met.

Flannel boomer

The guy who said he couldn’t imagine having it 19 year-old living in his house is definitely a boomer though

You failed to raise him correctly.

You were more concerned with being his friend versus breaking a foot off in his arse when he was lazy

Imagine being such a total loser that you’ve chosen to blame a bunch of retirees for your station in life

Pathetic.

You're coddling him. If he's 19, he knows better. If he does another of those things, he has to leave.

I bought a piece of property to build a house on when I was 19. Cash. That I earned.

The phone addition is everything. Fill his feed with people getting over doomscrolling addiction. He needs a mentor.

Just this past week, we had our 19 year of “adult” manchild leave the front door unlocked and open (it’s a miracle the dog didn’t escape), left the gas stove on for who knows how long, and left the refrigerator open for who knows how long.

My 20 year old son is one of the hardest working and responsible people I know period. He busts his arse at everything he does school, exercise, work, etc. He house sat at 19 years old a week for his older brother. He cleaned his pool daily and left his house neater than he found it. I think the problem is with your individual child. My older 2 kids also work hard and are responsible although maybe not as hard as their little brother. I think some of it is my kids had to work for everything they get so they appreciate it more.

Can’t imagine a situation where telling a 19 year old he’s grounded is even a thing.

fricking zombies. And soft arse moms enabled this needing to be able to "get in touch, just in case" in elementary and junior high. That used to be called, "call the school office." Life360 has fricked up every kid under 30.

Find his drug stash and call the cops on him.

Nothing will mature him faster than getting cuffed and stuffed.

You should be absolutely ashamed of the job you and your wife have done, my 19 daughter sounds like 10 times the man your son is.
