Don’t hear what I’m not saying…but in this NIL age, I could see gambling being a huge issue. “Here’s 100k for an endorsement, BTW I got 50k on Texas (insert any team), I appreciate your help.

Granted I don’t know the timeline of when money can be given/received but I could see gambling hidden pretty easily inside an NIL deal with a wink and a nod. I am NOT saying that’s what happening, but questions could be asked.

Watching these other teams, all with Saban disciples in the driver’s seat. Starting to feel like we missed out.

He was/is the best post GOAT coach before we go get the Saban guy. The guy that follows after the legend is never the one… we needed a stop gap, that doesn’t completely sink the program until we hire the Saban guy.

Yeah, I already said that. My question was clear: Does being an alum give me the right to criticize, or is it only if I donate NIL money?

EDIT. Bamadoc says no… oh well.

For the record, I’ve donated—more than some, less than others.

But I’m done. I have my degree. Back in the day, players shared our pride in the school. Now it’s just a business relationship for them. So my “business relationship” with the university is over. No player can give me anything worth investing in, certainly not a degree— so I’m out—no more donations, no more wondering about my return on investment. Feels good actually…

I wish all you people that said things like this would pack your bags and find another team. You arent personally entitled to your favorite football team playing up to whatever standards you have set.

What about the 10s of thousands I paid the school for my degree? Does that count? Am I personally entitled to be critical or hope they play up to a certain standard then? Or is it just if or when I give to NIL… Just curious…

I’m curious if they made the toughest stadium list dynamic this year.

It doesn’t change. I read somewhere, can’t remember where, but that it doesn’t change. Which kinda kills the realism of building up a team, if the stadium doesn’t impact it. The crowds get bigger, the noise gets bigger, but it doesn’t seem to impact the disruption on opposing teams.

Defense carried us in most of those games.

Womack did a bang up job after FSU.. give him a complementary offense and we roll in every game… this was not the case in the season so you begin looking at the Offensive positions specifically… Ty is not solely to blame be his a cog in the weak machine.
He definitely had a little more zip to his passes and seemed to process it quicker when given the same amount of time (very little) as Ty.

Cignetti absolutely would come for the right amount of money, and we can pay it.

:rotflmao: the guy who said “google me” and kicked our arse? He ain’t leaving that train… come on…

If ty was hurt

False, he was rocked… no doubt, but he was pulled, and threw his helmet for theatrics… now he had a cracked rib at half and then was allowed to start and “pull himself”… riiiiight, ok, he was pulled and injured to save face…

Joking, but definitely ironic if Golding ends up as a better Head Coach than the HC at Bama.

His team looks 100 X better than what we trotted out today… against a DAMN good team… confident, flying to the ball, balling out…

Schuman? I think he’s got that in him… would love to hire him.
I did, gave a good damn penny, it got me a coach that’s paid 10 mil plus, to trust an OC that I could out play call and one that finally pulled an ineffective QB in the 3rd qtr of the last game of the year, and a Wr who carries a stuffed T. rex with painted nails into an SEC matchup that drops catches. All cool… is this where I get my money back or can I not criticize the players because they’re “just kids”… and not paid athletes that make more than I do? Just curious on my RIO…
Yeah, the whole board wants KDB gone, partly including myself, but there’s not ONE coach that we could realistically pull that would come today. Like it or not, KDB is our coach barring a NFL jump. Name one… just one, not a fantasy, that could/would walk in the Mal Moore tomorrow…

Key, … bruh seriously? His own Alma mater, is better than KDB and can’t win in ACC? Never beat Kirby?

NOT saying KDB is answer… far from it… but name ONE coach we could actually, realistically pull that would come to Alabama, and be successful… not a fantasy, Kirby, Sark or Lanning… just ONE… go…

re: Ty Simpson has a cracked rib

Posted by ghoast on 1/1/26 at 8:53 pm to
I’m sorry, but that doesn’t explain the lack of production pre-cracked rib… OR if they found out at half time it was cracked why they started him in the 3rd… so why throw the helmet, theatrics? Something smells fricky…
