It's probably just me, but I have a hard time determining who the assholes are in the fighting in the middle east.

After Sadaam invaded Kuwait I think it's pretty much Sunni vs Shia and then Iran props up Lebanon cause they are right next to Israel. Iran and Saudi Arabia are rivals. US backs Saudis generally, so Russia has to back the other side, which is Iran and Syria. Nobody likes ISIS.
