How about Cecil or Collins?

Sometimes I hate TD, but shite like this keeps me coming back. That's good stuff.

Don't know if it's been said yet but it definitely was treated as a feral cat when spayed/neutered at the SPCA. Ear is docked, might very well be nobody's cat. Congrats on a new podnah for a decade or so

I did, because it's painfully obvious it's not a trap and release cat... based on your own observation of its balls. If you're still planning on keeping this cat, without looking for its owners, after this has been explained... frick you right back

Big Lee is also a fitting name since he hissed and attacked your leg out of the sport of frickery.

Definitely have to keep the cat. Probably a stray or someone's outside cat.

Allow him to be found. If not found, he’s yours. If found, go adopt one……you need it brother:)

Let him go and see what happens. If he keeps coming around after a week or so, congrats he’s your cat!

ETA: should also figure out if he’s chipped or not, some people have outdoor cats that roam around

We acquired a cat that way. Kept coming back and didn't have a chip so she was ours.

Those cats are the best.

Congrats on the new cat, and maybe a bout of scabies.

Looks like my cat minus the white on his paws.

My aunt (no pics) got a cat this way. She had her back door open on a nice fall day. A cat strutted in, set down on the couch, and freeloaded for the next thirteen years.

I always like the name Pickles for a cat.

Looks a lot like a cat I had as a kid named Cringer (I was into He-Man)

If he was neutered as an adult, it’s entirely possible he still has the appearance of balls after the surgery. TNR vets aren’t generally doing skin removal surgery. The ear tip looks too clean to be accidental.

How I got an outdoor cat ten years ago. One day a Russian blue, older one showed up. Didn't leave. Named him Whiskey. My neighbor and I shared joint custody of him. He stayed outdoors but came inside on regular basis. Never tore up anything or went where he was supposed to.

He was the rare cat who knew he had a good gig.

Awww, he chose you! Pretty cat! Let him stay. My aunt had a cat door and it wasn’t uncommon to find a stray or neighborhood cat hanging in her home. They’d eat, sleep, and leave until next time.

Pretty cat, and already fixed.

Clearly belongs to someone (a feral wouldn't be that cozy). Put pics on NextDoor (and check their lost pets).

No response in a few days, congrats on the cat.

I had a stray neutered as a kitten; he eventually became our pet. Could have been this guy’s fate as well. Certainly would look on the Nextdoor app to see if any of your neighbors are missing their pet.

ETA: If you keep him, name him Roamer.
