I appreciate all the responses in this thread. The cat and this thread have brought a smile to my face and have warmed my heart tonight.
I turned out the lights and have let ole baw catch some (apparently) much needed zzz's on my futon...
I guess I'll keep him for tonight, ask some of the neighbors tomorrow if it belongs to them. If not, I don't know what I'll do.

Take it to a nearby vet or shelter tomorrow for them to scan for a microchip. That is a cat well used to being indoors. You might want to buy a litterbox tonight though along with a can or two of cat food if you are keeping it overnight.

Last update for me tonight. It's almost 9 PM here and that's past my bedtime.
I turned on the lights to go in the kitchen. Then, I ended up sitting back down by ole baw. Started petting him and the little bitch arse motherfricker started hissing at me.
It's all good now though, almost like I'm Dr. Doolittle.
Anyways, little baw got on my left leg after that little episode and now he's knocked out on my leg and I'm stuck sitting here on this shitty futon again.

That is exactly how we got orange dude. He walked in, jumped on sofa, and went to sleep. No one claimed him when we tried to find his owner. He wasn't fixed but sure acted like he new what being indoors was.

I hate cats but the RIGHT cat is the best buddy you will have. Brown tabby’s are really good guys. My 17 lb buddy is the best thing that ever entered our home. We literally fight over who gets to snuggle, hug, and please him. Lol! I wonder if he knows how good he has it?!
