It is usually 1 of 2 things. Some junkie looking to grab a something quick or some teenagers looking to do the same.

Generally thieves only want easy in and outs. The more small deterrents around, the more likely they are to leave your house alone.

Big dog, sensor lights, mounted cameras, etc...

Also load it up with 7 and a halfs. Across the room these will still tear somebody up but won't go through walls

They will go through sheetrock and paneling, but they probably wouldn't kill whatever is on the otherside.

If you call ADT they will be at your house installing the system tomorrow. And you'll feel a lot better.

Motion activated camera systems with night vision are cheap as frick these days as are home alarm systems. You don't even need to pay a monthly service fee since the alarm going off will usually make the person run off.

So I went and turned the back and front porch lights on and found my baseball bat and a working flashlight.

You sound very prepared. No wonder they keep coming back.

You need to figure out why they want into your bathroom. Did you buy the fancy toilet paper and show it off to the neighbors a little while unloading groceries? Buy the cheap stuff and make sure everyone sees that you've switched.

Motion Sensor Lights

Alarm System

Report these instances to police.

Insist they start patrolling the area more at night time.

Go to pound and rescue a big dog that will bark

Motion sensor lights at Harbor Freight are $40 on sale and solar powered is the tits. Put one on each side and they spotlight them before they even get to the window. Awesome deterrent.
