re: Is having kids worth it?

100% worth it.

Frustrating as hell especially preteen and teen years for girls, but so many little moments that are the most amazing thing on Earth.

I have 4 girls (15, 10, 3, 1)

Stop at 3. Once we had the 4th it became a circus.

I would do anything for my daughter, I’d go up on the Cross myself. It’s the worst pain to see your child suffer.

Not quite there yet with my daughter, 15, but it is painfully obvous we are headed that way. Definietly has depression issues and other lingering mental health issues from an abusive/addict mom. I have had sole custody for 5+ years and she goes through stretches where her mental health is great. Does decent in school, has good friends, but anytime her mom starts her bullshite, it throws my daughter into a quick downward hole. We do tons of counseling and therapy. I just see alot of the same mental health issues/quirks that my ex wife had.

praying for you and your family.

Men's Thongs

Posted by ThatsAFactJack on 11/10/25 at 11:52 am
Fellow gentleman of the OT

Wife bought me a pack of Ikingsky Men's Thongs. They are black with the "t" back and the pouch for the balls and cock. Actually pretty damn comfortable and not gonna lie, first day wearing them and my cock is constantly tingling and getting the horny feeling to frick or rub one out.

Anyone else recommend another brand?

:usa:
I'll buy it at spot price

Just off of LA HWY 10 about 7-8 miles before Oakdale. Been hunting that area with family since I was 5 years old, 46 now. Base camp at Miller's Lake.
Aeration mainly but the wife requestes it be "pretty" :banghead:

ETA: Once we have electiricity on the property it will be a really nice foiuntain aerator. Really just trying ot be as basic and cheap as possible for the next 12-18 months

Solar Powered Pond Fountain

Posted by ThatsAFactJack on 9/3/25 at 1:39 pm
Almost done digging a 1/3 acre pond. 8-10 feet deep at the max.

No electricity on property today and none expected for 12-18 months.

What is the easiest Cajun engineered way to get a solar panel on a wooden post to tie into a battery and have a converter to plug the pond fountain into without spending $2000+ on the kits?

I don't care if the battery burns up every 2-3 moths. Just need simple and cheap to get me throught about 12-18 months.

TIA
Property Tax or any Tax is legalized theft. End all taxes, end city councils, get government the hell out.

Golden, Colorado

Close enough to plenty of outdoor stuff, close enough to Denver, Estes Park, Garden of the Gods, close enough to Manitou Springs and Colorado Springs.

I say all the time, if I could go back in time to being 22-25, I'd move my arse to Golden and start there.
My favorites and better performers are ABR and OMF for yield.

For growth I like MO and XOM
Similar situation.

Our forever home build has been priced out at $475,000 to build

We originally planned to start building this spring, but are going to just aggressively pay down lot and stack cash and wait till rates are sub 6% or have enough cash to keep our note under $2500.

We are not in any rush so its no big deal to us. I would have thought rates would have come back down a little more by now, but here we are. Patience is a virtue, thankfully I control the purse strings on major projects because my wife has NO patience.

In the meantime, I'll keep cutting the grass, the kids will keep fishing in the pond and riding 4 wheelers while I piddle in my shop on days we spend at the property.

Got a link where I can purchase that hat? I know quite a few people including myself that would love to have one.

I 2nd Nunu's in Milton. Turnaround is pretty quick (2-3 days) and price is very reasonable.
I will probably take at 67 (full retirement) only because I am 45 now with my youngest child being only 11 months, so I will be working later than originallyl expected. Got remarried to a younger woman (9 years younger) and we had 2 kids to add to our 14 and 9 year old.

62 $2106
65 $2657
67 $3089
70 $3861

I also expect those monthly estimates to increase as I just started hitting my peak earning.

I may be able to swing 65 if my rental portfolio does well and my side hobby of live crawfish sells continues as is. I will never stop those 2 forms of income. My kids (all girls) can take over the rentals eventually and hopefully they give me some grand sons to take over the crawfish gig.
Personal Checking - Home Bank (very satisfied)
Real Estate LLC - Home Bank (satisfied)
Live Crawfish Seasonal - Farmers State Bank & Trust (satisified)

Went with Farmers for the crawfish biz because they are very accustomed to this type of business and won't give me a hard time every week bringing in large sums of cash, I'm sure they do their due diligence but they do not hassle me about it.
2023 Tax Bill 791
2024 Tax Bill 998

26% increase. Lafayette Parish Tax Assessor had sent out PR push a couple months back to expect 6-10% increase. frick those slimy cocksuckers.

My 3.003 acre lot also in Lafayette Parish, valued at $90k, has a property tax bill of $8.85. Makes zero fricking sense.
I do live crawfish sales Fri-Sun during crawfish season.

I accept cash or card.

Cash = x per sack
Card = x+10% per sack

my card processing fees are right under 3%. Yes I add another 7% because I want as many people as possible to pay cash.

I grew up in Golden

My family and I love Golden! We are born and raised in South Louisiana, but found Golden a few years back when girlfriend and I went to a concert at REd Rocks. Got engaged at Chart House on Gennessee Rd (?). Have gone back multiple times, usually in the late spring early summer. Love Woody's, Love Golden Diner, love shopping all along the main drag. Wife and girls love the market on Saturdays. I have zillow search saved for anything around the main drag, would love an apt over the General Merchandise Store one day, those frickers are expensive.

If I was 20 again and had no responsibilities I would move to Golden in a heart beat.
