Some say his social media post were a sham. If so it was well done and great PR for the US for the Im not so sure about the US crowd in Europe. I heartily approve of the his messaging. I know alot of Europeans had a great time here and had wonderful experiences. They also realized the crap that gets spoon fed to them by there media has completely misrepresented the US people. Hopefully the impact of this dissonance between the media dishonesty and reality causes them to be more skeptical of the mass media.

Really, did you read my comment to the last word. I said I wasn't mad, just wondering how he did that. Let's see... International flights, tickets to all these games, 49 days of food, drinks, sight seeing, rental car/uber/transportation, lodging... That's rather hard to believe you could do all that for $6K. Start doing the math, it doesn't add up.
But like I said, I'm not mad so chill out...

Its all good. Go read his timeline but add in replies he made. He fully explained in several posts how he did it and for the cost. Said if not for some generous folks it woulda cost $7k.

Its all laid out unless you just like to complain lol

Also, weren’t there two or three people with him, so I’m sure they’re splitting costs on gas and hotel fees and saw each night

Really true.

It's always funny to see threads about NY or California or Europe where so many responses are either "I see on facebook/X that it's a shithole" or "I went there and really liked it".

Yea lmao.

95% of this board would shite all over you and tell you that you deserve to lose your job if you made a thread about spending 50 days roadtripping around europe and hitting a new tourist destination every other day.

He saved up for over a year and stayed in roach hotels. He posted about how he did it a few days ago.

I was more commenting on the amount of time, rather than the cost. I had read about his costs were a few thousand dollars or so.

If you have ever done work with European companies, you know that July and August can be dead with the amount of time they spend "on Holiday". Also, very common for Euros to take a "Gap year" and travel as cheaply as possible. A train pass and hostels go a long way in making this affordable.
One could argue the amount of learning/real world experience you acquire about other cultures is a much more thorough and valuable education then you could ever hope to get in a classroom. Is it fun, hopefully, but doesn't mean it can't also be enriching.

He's probably making a killing off being an internet influencer with millions of hits on his posts.

What that tells me is a complete stranger from Germany who travelled to over half the states and even Canada plus large cities and small towns - enjoyed the southern culture and hospitality the most. Need to make him an honorary citizen. He loves America more than 40% do (and it might be higher).
