In addition to the immense financial costs to many, the opportunity costs to so many more caused by this whole pathetic episode are immeasurable. There is no "forgiveness" for those who say "oh, well, maybe it wasn't so bad after all. I'm sorry." F-You! Don't ever let the anger of this stupidity subside because all it will do is allow the same pathetic episode to repeat itself again. Even if it probably isn't in my best interests sometimes, I never politely sit quietly if one of the "true believers" start touting their rhetoric.

Also. Just because you intentionally IGNORE data/information doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist. You can’t decide two years later to pay attention to the data and say, “Well, we didn’t know at the time!”
You had every opportunity to think for yourself, but you intentionally chose not to and now are claiming ignorance.

And this same mindset of theirs can be extrapolated to how they bumble and stumble through life. Liberals ruin ever place they gather, like locusts decimating a crop of wheat. Their beliefs and policies cripple economies, destroy property, encourage graft, laziness, and warped behaviors. And as the beautiful prosperous place they've infested begins to crumble and decay in to irreparable misery, they just move on to the next place.
NEVER once having it occur to them that THEY are the reason for the destruction they leave in their wake.

I'll let you in on a dirty little secret: since about winter of '20 - 21, NYC inhabitants weren't nearly as compliant with Covid restrictions as you might think. I spent a fair amount of time in the city for work over that period, and I was expecting one thing, and the lived reality was quite different.

Wait, what? Maybe the whole skit was better, but those two minutes in that link were awful. I get what they are trying to do, but in true SNL form for the past 15+ years, it's terribly executed and not remotely funny (IMO).

They wouldn't even discuss the lab leak hypothesis for over a year, even censoring it from social media. frick anyone that thinks they are being honest with any information that they had.
