Today is the very first day since the pandemic started that my sister's school said they can go without masks. My sister asked me if it was OK not to wear one. She is worried about being a bad leader if she doesn't wear one.

I try my best to be understanding (NYC -- people from up there are completely freaked over Covid) but the truth is the lefties are not saying anything we have not been saying for the past 2 years. They are completely ... to use their word ... tone-deaf.

Guys, this is the moment as a white progressive I’ve been waiting for 2 years!!!!! I knew all of us staying home, wearing mask, social distance isolation precautions, getting vaccinated would finally pay off and it did!!!! We were in this together, thanks guys!!! Let’s focus on Russia now

My wife has been working from home for almost two years straight now. Only now is she hearing that the higher ups are trying to get their employees back in the office.
Problem is they hired some employees completely remotely over the last two years who don't even live in the area and have never been into the office nor are they expected to come in.
As you can imagine, that pisses some employees off who are being pressured to come back.

No, it's not funny. It's pathetic.
These frickers think that they can "laugh off" the shite they have been fervently supporting for 2 years, causing the ruin of thousands of businesses and mental breakdown of thousands of people, and we will all just chuckle along.
Yet they haven't actually learned a gotdamn thing. They will lap up the next bullshite fed to them by their leaders and the media, and screech at anyone who questions it.

Our school just lifted it today. My daughter came home Friday saying her teacher is going to continue wearing a mask and some of the kids are too—she said “some people don’t agree with it, daddy”
At drop off today, I bet 90% didn’t have one on. I felt bad for the kids doing that perp walk of shame. It was beautiful to see all the smiling kids.
