I can't be the only one that sees the giant piece of irony here, right?

North Carolina and Georgia are turning blue while Florida and Tennessee are getting redder.
Texas is holding steady but slowly getting purple.

It opens for me, I don't have an account with Bloomberg. Weird

Louisiana isn’t mentioned because it’s struggling in a huge way.
But there is some growth in the horizon. These EV factories are going to require battery materials and processing that will involve the lower river valley.
If La can improve the infrastructure (transportation, flood protection, and education) on the I-10 and I-12 corridor, it will be much better positioned.

No, South Louisiana people love to take government handouts and not work at all. And if you think that only applies to the black population, you're an idiot. White trash populates Louisiana from NOLA to New Iberia to all of the northern parts of the state.

I added an article from the daily mail. That summarizes the Bloomberg article

Nope, Chinese red will be the unifying color after they own the majority of the US.

North Carolina just elected a veto-proof majority of Republican legislators to the state house and sent a conservative-majority to the state supreme court.

The majority of the people moving to Florida are politically-moderate and lean right. You have to remember that the majority of the people that are moving to Florida are elderly people not just from the Northeast, but the Midwest as well. Elderly people tend to be more conservative compared to the younger generations.

Drive from Auburn, AL to past Charlotte, NC on I-85 and it’s one giant and expanding industrial corridor, of course, including Atlanta.

It is truly awful. We don't want a bunch of communist carpet baggers stinking up God's country.

I hope you are wrong but you probably are spot on.
I’m basing my political decisions on who can make meaningful changes in La on economic growth. IMO nothing is more important of an issue in Louisiana, which is why I think infrastructure issues are so critical to almost all parts of the state. Every decision on public sector priorities and initiatives needs to be made within the context of maximizing economic impact.
It’s hard to attract investment to an area that refuses to invest in itself. And Louisianan doesn’t really do that anymore.
So far I don’t like our options for governor. But I am cautiously optimistic on the Formosa project making some headway after JBE leaves office.
