If you watched any of Nebraska during that time you'd see they didn't consistently compete with the upper tier teams.
Like Richt at Georgia who had a really good record but got to another level with Kirby.
Nebraska's problem is that they just haven't hit a homerun on their coach

The NASCAR community is pretty tight knit when you're talking about all the teams HQ, engineers, and just the whole support apparatus surrounding it

That is a stupid deal for a guy who isn't even the brains behind the offense and is likely quite replaceable
