I work in Ft Myers FL. It seems strange but I see a lot of FL black bears where I work just east of town. They come in from the everglades and hit our bee hives and garbage

Yes, while sitting in a deer stand in Union parish. They are everywhere up here. I hate them, another failure by our LDWLF.

Yes. A mama with cubs and a (probably male) lone adult on the same backpacking trip.

In New Mexico.

I lived in Gulf county fla, which is in the panhandle. The whole county is completely overrun. They did a culling back in 15 or 16. Killed a couple hundred in one day. Need to do it again

Near Delhi, LA along a pL ROW.

My parents are from right up the road in Epps. Those cornfields are like a buffet line for bears.

Eat fawns, eat feed, tore my stand up, walked across the top of my truck and scared deer off.

I was hunting out of a camp at almost 9000 feet in Colorado between there and the vegetation line following an old game trail up. On the way up I saw a fairly fresh elk kill beside the trail. Nothing was around so didn't think anything of it till I was on my way back in the dark. Got near it and there was bone crunching sounds at the carcass. Then he smelled me and started popping teeth and growling. I went around him and stayed freaked out for the rest of that trip back to camp.

Was on a weeklong Boy Scout trip to the Boundary Waters camp in Minnesota. Our troop was camped on a small island in Canada when we woke up one morning to find a bear cub exploring our campsite. We packed up and hauled out of there not wanting to run into momma.

Yes, they have become a nuisance here in SE Arkansas. My nephew left a Reese cup in a Redneck Hunting blind, a bear fricking destroyed it to get to it.

We see them pretty regularly in MT, never in FL, and there's a pretty big one that passes through the property we're buying in NH.
