Should I be pi$$ed at my wife?

So yesterday, my wife (no pics, sorry) comes home from a workout class going on and on about the size of the diamond ring another lady in the class had. We have been married for a long time and she knows I can’t afford to buy her a 3 or 4 karat diamond ring. But she won’t let it go. I told her that the lady is probably somebody’s 2nd wife because the 2nd wife gets a bigger ring (married later in life and probably had more money than I did when we married just after college). She then explodes and starts turning it around like I said that I would buy my 2nd wife a bigger ring than the one I bought her. Pure irrational BS!

Sorry, but she should just be grateful and feel blessed to have a husband who loves her and makes her feel safe instead of throwing a fit over something materialistic and stupid.

My wife has never given two shits about the size of the diamond on her finger. She'd never say something like that to me. No way. Your wife has her priorities wrong....really, really wrong.
Lastly, if your wife knows you can't afford it, then she was hitting below the belt. Seems quite hurtful on her part. She just trying to make you feel bad and depressed?
