Don't even entertain this argument. It's not worth it man. In the words of Bill Burr, just take a knee and run out the clock. If she continues to bring it up, it says a lot about her and her priorities. You don't have to apologize for shite. Good luck.

Ill-advised, but funny.

For sure

y’all will eventually get a divorce. If not over this, it will be something else.

My wife made a comment about one of my friends wife’s ring being “so” big years back. Not knowing he maxed out his CC and still is paying on it to this day.

When she goes to sleep, take the rings out her jewelry box/dresser/counter, or wherever she keeps them and lock them somewhere.

When she goes to get them, see they are missing, tell her you are holding them for a while and go on without wearing any rings. End the convo like that. Don’t say absolutely nothing else or bring up the workout class talk.

Seems childish, but it’ll humble her.

Just tell her this:
"My love for you is like a ring. It has no beginning and no end. My love for you is much larger than any rock dug out of the ground. I know you are not so superficial that you would put greater importance on the size of a rock instead of the size of the love I have in my heart for you.

Bottom line: If she loves you, then she will not care what size rock she has on a ring.

If you've got a big dick, you can buy a little ring.

Sounds like you need to take out a loan on a bigger ring or buy some male enhancement.

Not sure which will be cheaper..js

Your wife is thinking she DESERVES a bigger ring, a bigger and nicer house, a more expensive car, etc. unfortunately, you’re married to a high maintenance woman and she’s in competition with other women to prove their relative worth through possessions. Make her feel special by doing little things for her. Give her the impression that you will sacrifice for her. You’ve got to move the needle back to why she married you in the first place.

Treating your wife like a child is always the answer. There's no way that would breed further resentment.

Wrong answer on the 2nd wife deal. If y’all can’t affect rd something bigger, discuss it like adults.

1. Do not make anymore babies.
2. Start hiding assets and slowly drain accounts.
3. Stop adding to 401k
4. Refinance house.

Its over dude, you just don't know it yet.

it will be a lot cheaper buying her a dumb ring instead of her taking half of your earnings after she files for divorce because of it

She sounds like a pain in the arse. Go buy a new boat and stay on the water everyday until sunset.

Just give her a diamond encrusted stacking band - I usually put one on my wife for every milestone.
