Clearly.

OP is the racist he has accused everyone else of being his entire existence.

This is what you support. You need just invite him in and give him what he wants.

Better deterrent, maybe. Better home defense, absolutely fricking not.

It’s laughable how working class white people continue to spend high dollars on dilapidated/outdated BR houses located blocks away from the hood.

I don't know.

4 dalmatians and a great dane were a pretty good defense for the home.

The best home defense is having a home that threats won't enter

He is more likely to get her shoot it 5 times.

I've been up all night waiting to see if this guy returns, even though I know he isn't. But I can't get comfortable knowing that he actually tried to open the door after looking in, because I know that he most likely looked in the window at my girl when she went to the kitchen to get a drink and something to eat.

Consider this. Cops were called about this guy multiple times. No telling how many other doorknobs he checked. 10? 15? And those homes may have little boys and girls, too. You having a simple Remington 870 with single or double 000 will do the trick. You'll feel like Conan the Barbarian if you buy your first home defense weapon

I would recommend a Remington 870 Express Magnum 20 Gauge Youth Pump Shotgun -18.5" barrel, LINK

This will be small enough for a smaller framed individual to handle indoors, and the 20 gauge will be plenty enough. Just don't tell your wife that at distances inside the house, that bird shot will probably kill the intruder.

...and a .357 Ruger GP-100, LINK

I like the smaller grip, and shorter barrel. I find the sweet spot at the 3" bbl. This revolver is a tank, the weight reduces felt recoil and you can use .38 special defense rounds (as someone mentioned) in a .357 and further reduce felt recoil.

I can guarantee you one thing, not a single one of these yahoos telling you that you're wrong has ever killed another human being. I totally understand your feeling that you're not sure she could shoot to kill, and that generally a simple break in is not worth a person's life. But sometimes it's nice to have a firearm just in case.

Too bad about not being able to have a dog right now. They really are the best.

But guide me on guns for home defense and please include the pros and cons.

My bedside piece is a Taurus Judge. Revolver w/ a 3” barrel. 5 shot cylinder, takes a .45 Long Colt or a .410 shotgun shell. I usually keep it loaded 3/2.

My vehicle piece is another Taurus…a .38 snub nose.

Both good if you need to act quickly. And easy for people who are unfamiliar with firearms…simply point and shoot (single/double action). A wheel gun will never go wrong on you.

Like…… building a big beautiful wall around your property?

And just to clarify.

You’re a man. You’re too scared to get YOU a gun. So you are buying a small woman a gun to protect herself. You believe that the small woman should use birdshot to “wound” the assailant because shooting to kill is wrong.

Jesus frick you really are a walking stereotype.
