We still haven’t heard who was driving the truck that caused damage by the Mississippi River bridge in Baton Rouge at the end of July.

Well it hasn't been opened to pedestrians yet so that would at least explain that aspect.
I still wonder why it was done though considering there cannot be that much demand to walk from Wald over to the library. Like how many people does that really serve?

from what I recall, there was a very large financial incentive for finishing the project on time or ahead of schedule.

That neighborhood by the library is hopping with kids. I wouldn’t personally do it, but know some parents who let their kids loose at night to walk over to Wald.

Ha ha! Have to admit I've lobbed a few grenades on those sites about the pathetic progress of Massey Road. The wall and flowers is just silly. It looks okay,but who cares? I don't know what to say about the bridge.
While they may be ALDOT/JeffCO projects the way the city of VH hides behind "its not our fault!" is lame. Why they are so passive and apatheic about these things is galling.
