Not counting commute (but please put how long it takes for you to commute to work).

I am used to the 8 - 4:30 but new job is more like 9:30 to 6:30. I also have an hour or so commute so it’s pretty crappy. What about you?

Depends on whether or not I have events/dinners to attend, but typically its a normal 9-5 with a 30 minute subway commute each way.

I work from home, so around 8-4:30 depending on what is going on. Typically don't take much of a lunch, enough to fix a sandwich, eat, and go back at it.

8-6 and I take off Friday afternoons, but real answer is whatever it takes to get job done. If you take care of biz, then hours are flexible.

I work 6:30 to 4 typically. I have an 18 minute commute each way on top of that. I take every other friday off and the friday I do work I leave at 3pm.

7 - 3:30. Still have time to get things done in the afternoon, especially during the summer. Only a 20 min commute, each way.

Office hours are 8-5, but typically we work 7:30 to 6 or so. Unfortunately, we work based on deadlines, so if that means we're working during the super bowl, (this guy streamed the whole game from my desk) we're working through the super bowl. We had four pissed off engineering department members that day/night.

ETA Commute: I work from home 2/3 of the year. The office is 5+ hours away, so every few weeks I'm driving 10+ hours that week.

If I was on salary, I would spend 45 minutes at the office then smoke joints the rest of the day.

I am usually there around 7-3:30ish. Work from home typically on Fridays. I live a block away so walk to work. Takes about 5 minutes or so.

120 mile round trip. I’m salary, but get paid time+ 1/2 for any overtime, but it’s pretty rare.

Varies widely. Sometimes I'm up at 8:00 working. Sometimes I don't really have anything pressing until 10:00 or so. Sometimes I drive into the office and work there. Sometimes I work from my kitchen/living room. Sometimes I work on weekends, or even travel for work on weekends. Sometimes I work while watching TV until midnight. Sometimes I'm done for the day after lunch.

I have not received any salary since 2003 . I can not even imagine the concept anymore . To wake up and know your financial ceiling for the day/week/year? That’s just so weird to me.
