re: Have you ever seen someone die?

I believe I’ve shared this story on here before, but, I was 17 in high school working as a cashier at a local gas station. I thought a drunk guy was walking in. He fell out at the counter with a snickers bar saying that his blood sugar was low. I called 911 but he had come to almost instantly and refused medical.

He ate his snickers bar sitting down and when he got up he fell back down and out almost immediately. I called 911 again and started chest compressions. First responders got there in 3-5 min. He never came back to and first responders said he probably died before hitting the ground from a massive heart attack.
Memphis, just to make the pyramid the capitol.

I crashed the bi-plane around 10 years ago and sold the other plane. Haven’t flown in 8 years or so. Was a fun, but, expensive hobby.

I know a few people who are from Bogalusa, originally. They’ve all moved out of that shithole. They also can’t get their older parents to move out of their original homes. A lot of times, even after it gets burglarized. Pretty sad.

Kershaw 1660 is my EDC. I like the blade lock in case my kids grab it off the counter. Sharpens easy and has pretty good action.

The what?

SpaceX crew 8 shuttle re-entry in October.

My dad was an amateur astronomer too. He had a pretty cool telescope with a tracker on it. He could put it on a star or planet and we’d walk out there the next day and it would be aimed straight at the ground. I still don’t know how he got the base pointed directly at Polaris.

I’m no astronomer. My 4 year old has been really into space since we saw the ISS one night in October or November. I was also able to get a video of the SpaceX shuttle re-entry from work and showed him.

I download an app that tells me where the planets are and we were able to kind of see them through the $30 telescope my wife and I bought him for Christmas  we just happened to see a bunch of drones tonight.

Nice brag about your electric provider runs a three-phase line across you back yard.

I live on a corner lot. Three-phase front yard and side yard with all new utility poles within the past 6 months. :pimp:

Drugs are bad........mmmmkay.

Take some shrooms and go look at the stars. You might change your opinion.
My 4 year old is in the midst of transitioning. I find that term highly offensive.
We were using his new telescope to look at Jupiter and Saturn and noticed a bunch of drones flying around. Snapped some pictures with my iPhone and found out what the aliens are here doing.

They’re here to probe you.

y’all keep saying this as though it means anything. All “out for delivery” means is that the package has been scanned to the eventual delivery vehicle or vehicles. It’s still in a pile at the distribution center until it physically is placed on the truck. it’s is not scanned again until it’s delivered

Mine has said it was on Conner’s truck since the 22nd. Conner must have quit. I cancelled it again and they’re sending a new one out.

There are 100, 000 people leaving one place at the same time. Obviously there is going to be heavy traffic

No doubt, but, twice they were ordered and shipped from Illinois to Covington in 2 days. I’d imagine the logistics department is just as slammed nationwide as it is here. Which is why I specifically called out the Covington logistics center.

I've seen some horror stories on Facebook about the covington FedEx. Also, saw where a dude was selling grab bags of stolen FedEx stuff on Facebook marketplace.

I have too. I saw a thread on here about usps but not FedEx. Figured I would just bash them more on another forum.

The bikes were lagniappe, anyway. I spent 4 days putting together a lifetime playset and they had plenty of toys under the tree.

I’m not upset about the delay, I’m upset that they blatantly lie about their tracking and make it impossible to talk to anyone but a virtual assistant. They then somehow or another keep these big contracts with reputable companies.

Did you have to explain to the two year old how Santa failed him/her?

Yeah, I told him that the union and Santa just like his brother more. Maybe next year he’ll try harder.

What a Greek tragedy, OP. Hope you'll survive

Thanks, it’s been a burden. I drank bourbon and neglected my kids all day because of it. They need to pay!!
Ordered 2 new bikes for my 2 and 4 year old from the same company on December 12th. Both bikes were in Covington on the 14th. The bike for my 4 year old finally got delivered on 12/18. Called the company and they were great. Cancelled the order that wasn’t delivered and sent a new bike out that day.

The new order has been expected to be delivered and on a truck since12/22. Waiting until the other one is delivered to give it to them.

I, for one, am glad you’re back, Mingo. It’s been years since we’ve debated soy boys and plant baws. Has your opinion changed on O&G workers, or are they still low skill fat slobs?

Hell of a double meaning here

You’re right, I edited that part out. The whole point of the post was to suggest that cemeteries are wasteful, and I suggested a cemetery:lol:
