6:30-5 (sometimes later)
Commute varies based on jobsite. As little as 5 minutes, as much as an hour.
Construction management baw. Hours suck because I'm a field super. Pay and job security are fantastic.

I have not received any salary since 2003 . I can not even imagine the concept anymore . To wake up and know your financial ceiling for the day/week/year? That’s just so weird to me.
It's frustrating for me in my current job.
I have been at the same job for the last five years and haven't gotten a raise or bonus in spite of a work load that continues to increase and a lot of success in what I have done. My current boss is greedy as hell and works out all the raises and bonuses for himself. He keeps taking on titles and responsibilities that one person can't possibly do and delegates what he can't do to the rest of us, so we're sharing in the workload but not the cash.
A lot of us (certainly including myself) are about ready to leave it with his arse. I applied for another job recently and if it works out I will be gone in a heartbeat.

My office hours are 7:30 to 5:00 M-Th and 8-12 on Friday. I consider it a win if I’m in by 8:30. My commute is 15 minutes.

7-3:30 but I'm usually here around 6:30ish. My commute from Denham Springs to Corporate Boulevard is usually around 20 minutes.

I mean are you really "selling" anything or do you just take orders and turn them in?

Yeah, at least find something with performance bonuses and something that keeps you motivated. It’s the knowing that is the de- motivator.

Technically 9/80 but I work less

When i was in Construction it was typically 6:30-5:30 M-Th, 6:30-3 F. I worked most Saturdays.
Now I’m usually in my office at 5:45, leave between 5:30-6, but only M-Th.

I do both. My life would be cake if I just wrote shelf orders.

Usually 7-4 with hour lunch unless I am onsite then it is usually 12-14 hrs per day. 45 minute commute each way

Exactly. At this point in time it's hard to have a good attitude at work. I put up a good front, but I have a lot of animosity and frustration beneath the surface.
I'm at a point where (if this job opening doesn't work out for me) I'm going to have to sit down with my boss soon and explain how I feel. And if I don't get a good response then I may try to make a move even if it's a drastic one. A person can only stay stagnant for so long.
