I don’t have a sister but I have a brother and I love him to death but if one cross word about my wife ever decides to cross his lips to me and it will be a physical confrontation.

How hard is it to ask the sister to either explain why she doesn't trust the wife or demand an apology. It's an either or situation. And if sis won't give a valid reason for not trusting the wife, you don't go.

Sounds like OP gets a little pushed around by the women in his life. I have an older sister that isn't shy and saying something like that to either of her brothers wouldn't even cross her mind. Unless one of our wives was very clearly untrustworthy.

This really some beta shite. You got to take care of the problem. Why does your sister not trust your wife? If its some stupid shite tell sister she just has to get over it. Tell them they have to talk the shite out because its putting a wedge between the two parties and you are not going to deal with that shite.
