So are you not going to support/protect your wife at all. Get to the bottom of why she doesn't trust your wife. You're an adult. You can't run from confrontation. Talk to her.

Unless you plan on eating your sister's vagina going forward, you need to put your wife first, because she is most important. If you can't do that, then you won't have a wife for very long.

You should confront your sister about what she said regarding your wife and tell her that is unacceptable. If you allow your sister to be your mom and trash your wife, it will only get worse. She is your sister and who gives two shits if "affects" your relationship with her and your wife should be number one so long as your wife is not the problem.

Similar situation… only thing is my wife was completely in the wrong… she didn’t grow up in a close family and couldn’t fathom the idea that family is important… you can always get another wife you will never have another sister… especially if your sister is like mine the future rock of the family ie. how grandma was
