Had an otter go after my dog during this past duck season. They tied it up pretty good in the water. After yelling and shocking my dog I got him separated enough to shoot the otter. About 5 minutes of mayhem, but got the otter, dog was relatively unharmed and I had the otter skinned and pelt taned

Where do you plan to buy property near the airport? There isn’t much for sale of any decent size. The airport owns most and what they don’t own I own on the south side and have been developing for years. We put our money where our mouth was and have brought 4 hotels, 5th under construction, medical, ymca etc. Although I dont really consider what we have and are doing as part of nbr, it is and with that being said we have done more for north Baton Rouge than any govt or non profit agency has done in the last 30 yrs.

Taxed on everything we do. What we earn, what we win, what we own, what we buy, what we sell, what we use, when we die the list goes on. This absurdness is not much different from why this country broke away from Britain. Our tax money is so rarely used properly and completely abused by those that think they have some special rights. I am beyond sick and tired of it. These idiots that have a problem with doge finding fraud, waste and abuse are the same ones that are getting piles of govt money. I love this country, but man I really hate so much of it at the same time

Atlas, Owens, certainteed or GAF are all good. We are using a lot of Atlas impact rated class 4 shingles lately. All of these brands are good, make sure to get a “system” for the longest warranty and wind rating. You will probably pay $16-$19,000 for it. Personally with the system roof I wouldn’t spend the money for fortified, I dont think the discounts are there. You could ice/ water shield the entire deck and then do regular roof which would be worth it

This will be an unpopular position, but a complete mass deportation of Hispanic illegal aliens will bring this country to its knees while driving costs up 25-40%. This will cripple industry across the board from agriculture and construction to hospitality and food service. We don’t have some magic workforce of Americans waiting in the wings to take back the jobs that will be left open if the Hispanics are deported. We have the laziest most entitled group of Americans this country has ever had that have no desire to go to work and even less skills to do so with. If you think egg and produce prices are high now, get ready. If you think housing prices are high and “starter homes” our out of people’s budgets get ready to see what happens. I am pro Trump and 100% agree the criminals need to go and deportation is the only way. However we have to give a pathway to legal work for those that are here and making the wheels of this country turn. I am not saying a pathway to citizenship, a pathway to work legally without the fear of being scooped up and deported.
