You have a lease. The landlord owns what you are living in. If you cannot afford to pay for living there, you cannot live there.

For those that lost jobs due to the virus, they were collecting $849 per week. Plenty enough to pay the rent, etc.

And for those who don't get unemployment because they didn't have a job anyway, then they just can't afford a home or apartment by themselves - corona or no corona.
