Not sure what that has to do with living within your means, but yes I am. And I've never signed my name to a lease, loan, or any other agreement where I can't afford the payments.
do I really have to explain this to you? JC

There are probably a few layoffs form various business taking a hit from the virus shutdown as well.

Can you apply for unemployment if you’re an Uber driver who’s fairs have dried up (not a rhetorical question.) I can see a few real sympathetic cases for people who are getting hammered by the shutdown but aren’t unemployed.

1) it's fares
2) you simply switch to Uber Eats, which has more than quadrupled in the amount of deliveries during the pandemic

Looks like right now would be the best time to evict them. Nobody's home. Chuck their shite to the curb!

Please do. I've already said that I feel for anyone who's had their job affected by government mandated shutdowns. But there are programs out there that have helped those people. I've also said I might could understand the protest of these people if it were directed at the appropriate agencies and not landlords who've also been affected financially by having to lease to people that can't pay rent because the government said so.

But yes please explain to me what leases, loans, or contracts, and how they work, has anything to do with living withing your means...because that's what you asked when I pointed out that millions of people shelter themselves on $10/he grocery store jobs.

People with questionable skills and flakey service sector jobs deserve a chance at renting if they can afford it, just like minorities and gays deserve to be hired if qualified for the job.

But these days I have to wonder why would anybody even bother renting to non steady career people or hire any protected class. It’s just not worth the trouble it seems like.

I just saw a white girl on carrollton and earhart with a sign saying homeless and pregnant, anything helps.

But one of my bartender friends has been perfectly fine paying rent and not working because he's getting $800+ a week.

No i was driving by while reading the sign and didn't think to roll my window down. I thought about it after, that would have been good advice.

I was expecting it to say some blm crap at first.

WTF Latoya. I can’t hang out with more than 10 of my friends because I might catch the rona but if I haven’t showered for a week and protest at city hall I’m good to go? Also that Newman Soirée was a superspreader not these dumb protests.

You can't catch corona if you're protesting.

Everyone knows this.

Paying rent?

I mean that is kind of the point. The money is running out and there aren't jobs to be had. How does one continue to pay rent?

The targeting of landlords is weird, i'll give you that. A lot of us are in the same situation. Luckily I do not have to make a tough decision with my tenants. Im sympathetic but blame the government, not landlords.
