I have one rental and have had the same tenants for 3 years. They usually spread out their rent in 2 - 3 payments, but during corona this is the first time they have been paying on time and in full. So frick these people.

Perhaps some personal responsibility in getting some marketable skills would have helped.
My wife and I worked service industry... in college. Perhaps all those protesting should have taken advantage of all that white privilege I keep hearing about.

Nah I'm just not blinded bias and have noticed a lot of people not getting their unemployment or stimulus checks. I know this maybe shocking to you but some people actually can't afford their rent anymore because they're out of work and still have received their unemployment checks

a) Choose not to go find jobs in other fields
b) have no motivation to get a job because they were getting paid more on unemployment
and
c) the government shut down a lot of jobs
So either: Go get a job in a different field, or protest the GOVERNMENT taking away your livelihood.

Their employer. One submitted their correct start date, but the employer submitted an incorrect date. Delayed their unemployment for 10 weeks.
That's not how that works, unless you are talking about a different state than LA. I'm pretty sure LA isn't checking into shite with your employer, they are going by whatever you fill out. They'll find out later if you lied, and then your fricked, but right now, you fill it out correctly, and you get paid, quickly.
It is easy as shite to get your money in LA. File your claim the first week you are out. File your weekly certificate every Sunday, get paid every Friday. Simple as that. Now if you don't file your weekly certificate on time, youre fricked and have to call to get reimbursed and sit on hold for literally 3-4 hours to get it cleared up.
Anyone that isnt' paid on time, or at all, it's no ones fault but their own. I speak from experience, as i was furloughed twice for a week at a time b/c my company is a bunch of foreign greedy bastards that coudln't get PPP money so they thought this was a way to save money, even though we are up almost 10% so far this year over last.

You are right. I made some assumptions here. Let me clarify. If these people are preemptively protesting because they know their extra money is about to run out and they won't be able to pay rent in the future, I can see that. Pushing the government to hurry up and make new policy while their service jobs are still shut down. OK. If these people are there in spirit, white knighting for those in peril, OK, I can see that. Now, if they are there under what my assumption was, not paying their rent and spending their extra money on other shite, then frick 'em. My guess after thinking about it, there is a mixture of all of the above in that group. And for what I believe is the majority that blew their free money on other shite, frick 'em. Go get a job making $10 hour and lay in the bed you made.

Millions of people do it every day and have done it for decades. Are they living the best life in the suburbs somewhere? Probably not, but they make it work. They live, wait for it....within their means. Shocker, huh?
