Relocating to Houston for work. Project in Deer Park - where do I live?

Would be particularly nice if someone could draw me a nice little map of what to target and/or what to avoid. A lot of the office guys live in Kemah/Clearlake/League City, but I'm single and they said it'd be boring for me out there. Would like to get something on the SE/E side of the city to keep the commute down, but these areas appear to be ghetto/trashy
Very thankful for any recs.

Make sure you get some good ear plugs to block out the muslim call to prayer

Kemah is the first place I would look.

Honestly I'd live in Galveston and have a great time. Maybe even Tiki Island.

Live in a singles area like Midtown and suck up the drive - nothing good for singles on that side of the city

might as well suck it up and live in midtown or the heights and make the commute

Somewhere between Clearlake and Kemah

There are great neighborhoods in Deer Park.
Yes, the Pasadena hood has crept into some areas, but it's still a good suburb.
Decent school system too, though I don't think that matters to the OP.

I'm starting to lean this way.

The heights, river oaks. Looked up where deer park is and league city may not be a bad choice. Lived there for about a year. Clean with everything you need and not a lot of dindu nuffins

Make sure to go to the carnival in the parking lot.

Unless you want to date tortas and single moms, it’s the only way.
Closer to the north loop in the heights will be better than I-10. I-10 near downtown is a disaster for the foreseeable future

Ive lived in Clearlake and Kingwood and like both.
If I were you, maybe Kemah or Seabrook. There's a lot of stuff to do there and the drive into Houston isn't that bad IMO.
